Looking for Superbike or AMA logo???

It looks like this: Silhouett of a sportbike going straight across the screen, not turning. From left to right. It doent show the whole body of the bike nor the rider. Its a rough drawing, like a scetch. I always see it on speedvision during races, but cant find it anywhere now. I think that it only has half the wheels too. You see the bike and the riders helmet and soulders. like I said, its not the full detail pic of the motorcycle, its just a sillhouett. Please if ANYBODY knows what I am talking about, Please tell me where I can see a pic of this. We have a group o 50-70 sportbikes in Bakersfield, CA and this is going to be our logo. :)

Ummm....you really will want to check the US Patent & Trademark Office for this logo before you start using it. It's very likely that the AMA or Speedvision or somebody has trademarked this logo.

I just poked around the USPTO website (http://www.uspto.gov). The AMA has 33 trademarks and Speedvision has 70. I looked through the ones that should be obvious and didn't see this logo. You will want to look at EVERY one and then have a firm conduct a full trademark search. This is the only way to make sure you're staying out of trouble with folks who have lots of lawyers.

wow, thats alot to take in. I really appreciate your help. I tried to look on the link you gave me, but I really couldnt find what I was looking for. I didnt see any trademarks or logo's either. I dont want to copy the trademark, i want to visualize the idea and go from there. I dont want anybody blowing down my neck for this. Thanks for your concern. I will try to get in touch with you on your offer to help though. ( if you dont mind)
