Whats up guys. First off i really like the love you have on this forum

Well im only 15 years old but always loved bikes. My mom is the overprotective type and never allowed me to buy even a small dirtbike to ride with my friends(i just rode their bikes :burnout: .

Now to the point. She is extremely against me riding so for now there is nothing i can do. My plan is to save up money from jobs now so later on ill be able to get a 250, riding classes if possible, and insurance.

Anyone have suggestions to what i should do.

Thx again fellas.
Lots of respect :thumbs2:

a 250, excellent choice. although not all the big makers make 250's but you'll be happy with whatever you get, and its not your last bike you will purchase so dont sweat it.

Welcome!

Sounds like you have a good plan put together there, but you probably won't be able to implement it until you get out on your own. At any rate, keep the faith!

Change the order up a little and you're good as gold.

Classes,Gear,Insurance, and THEN the 250.

By the time comes around to buy you'll be lucky enough to have the 08+ 250s out there on the used market. Specifically the kawi which got some much needed plastic surgery.

My parents were the same way and because of it I couldn't get a bike of my own till I turned 19 and that was still after waiting a whole year to convince them I wasn't going to get myself killed.

Now my pops wants to learn to ride too!

Yeah man. For some reason they have the vision of me getting a bike, and on the way out of the driveway getting ran over by a large truck.

It'll be all good..ill just be lurking on these forums for say 2-3 more years haha.

This conjured the image from Office Space where Tom Smykowski gets plowed by a truck at the end of his driveway

My p's still aren't keen about my riding and I'm well into my 30's. Hypocritically he has been looking for a bike. Its an anti-sportbike thing I believe :(
