So last week I went on a big ride (500km), and my throttle hand is still killing me. I think I have nerve damage in my hand and my head, The vibrations were so bad I chipped my teeth thirteen times.

I bought new PROGRIPS sooo we'll see..

No really I would like to hear from other sissys too. (No sick jokes on how to toughen up my hands either!)

Sorry Twinkle Toes, I think you're alone on this one (atleast I hope so). You sissys and your gel grips really make me sick! Did you remember to use baby powder for that diaper rash? You're pathetic...

O.K., O.K. I admit it, I too have sore hands and use Pro Grips and will buy a Corbin seat and hire a female massage therapist as soon as I have enough $$$. :D :D :D

If your hans hurt after ONLY 250 miles on a ninja, then I suggest that you stay away from the Gixxer as your next bike!!!After riding over 400miles straight to Cape Cod at balls to the wall speed, I don't know what you mean when you say your hands hurt...j/k...I played a game in the arcade while I was up there...It was called the Addams family game or something. It was uncle Fester's shock test...You hold onto two vertical chrome hand grips, and the machine starts to progressively vibrate and shock you...The object of the game is to see if you can hold without letting go...There were alot of "tough" guys trying it out and failing badly...I gave it a try and held on all the way to the end...The punchline is if I can ride my gixxer for 8 hours straight, then I can hold onto to ANYTHING!!!!!Try riding more and you WILL build up a tolerance!!!I know that I did, and I GUARANTEE that my bike is WAY more buzzy than yours....Good luck!!!

Might want to consider this:

The ThrottleMeister is a throttle-lock cruise control that replaces the bar-end weights. The right-side unit compresses the throttle tube when activated, holding the setting by friction. The left-side unit is just to keep the appearance matching.

Cruise controls are potentially dangerous. This post is for information only, and is not a recommendation or an endorsement. Contact the manufacturer for safety information.

They're made and sold by:
