hey guys, I just bought an mp3 play cause I'm tired of my freakin cd player, which has 180sec esp, skipping all the time. so anyway my mp3 player uses compact flash cards, I got:
-mp3 player
-comes with 2 rechargable batteries
-comes with armband
-a pcmcia to cf card reader for my laptop
-a 96mb cf card

with shipping everything came out to about $70, which I consider very reasonable. I love ebay!!!!!

anyway I've downloaded a bunch of songs, then changed the bit rate to 48bit, which is about fm radio quality which is fine by me. so far I have gotten 32 songs on the card and used up 53mb, I can still fit atleast 15 more songs on

my question is what songs do you guys listen to when working out??? songs must be upbeat and nothing to annoying, so what ya got?:twofinger

When I am pounding the iron I prefer heavy metal or rock, but I am older than most of the folks here, so my tastes are for what you wetnoses would consider "classic" or "old" rock. The only new music I have in that category is POD and Creed.

But I don't put phones in my ears, it is too distracting for me, I prefer to hear the clank of the weights, listen to my breathing and hear others working out with the gym music droning in the bacKground.

You guys totally forgot Marylin Manson!

I used to always listen to Slipknot's song...not sure of the name, but I think it's called 'stone of leaves' or something like that? I could be TOTALLY off. I used to know the name of it, but the CD got stolen, along with all other 400 CD's that I used to own.
