I know it's about a month away, but I was just wondering who is going to be at SIR August 4-5 for the last race weekend of the season? I'm going to be there AT LEAST on the 5th. Possibly both days. My parent's live out by the track if you want to hit me up for a BBQ on the 4th. Let me know. :)

I didn't even make it out there the last race. I was out fishing. :) Besides, I'm a brunette and I never wear black nail polish. :D

I'll be at that race in Spokane. Don't know if on Sat. or Sun but but I'll be there. I would race but I too have small balls syndrome.Oh well, we can't all be Nicky Haden's.

No,I did not get those pants yet.Jim,you shoulda come to the bike races,I was in turn 10(as usual)and there must have been at least a dozen bikes go down, the riders were OK just bumps and bruises.Oh,and you know about the Taste of Racing?,where you pay your $20 and can take your bike on the track for an escorted tour at a moderately high speed.Well someone piled a Gixxer600 into the tire wall in turn 7,the bike was more or less unrideable until he found some racers who pitched in to help put his bike back together, the rider was fine-no injuries.Too much fun.....ken.

Well I was there off and on Sunday. My friend lowsided in turn 3 on Saturday during the Novice class. He and the bike were ok enough to race on Sunday. Tom Wertmen's dive was pretty nasty from what I heard. When I went over to talk with him Sunday his leathers were all chewed and he had a *cross-eyed* gaze. That guy kicks ass. He went back out there and took 3rd in his last race.

(on my knees bowing) I'M NOT WORTHY! I'M NOT WORTHY! :)

I heard about the guy during the Taste of Racing. How do you dump your bike during Taste of Racing???? I guess they had about 50-60 bikes out there? I was in the pits so I never saw any of it. Oh well. Spokane's in three weeks. Who's going???

Ken: The last issue of Motorcyclist had an ad with some yellow and black pants, didja see that??
Yea,I wish I could have been there this weekend. That GSXR600 rider musta felt pretty low after that one...makes ya wonder what he was thinking to get into that situation...:D

WMRRA racing?

Hmmmmm.............well I just got home from spending saturday and sunday at Pacific Raceway.Saturday I worked turn 9 with a mostly cloudy day and the odd shower thrown in,only had to pick up three bikes and the riders only had bumps and bruises.Sunday was pretty much rainy, very cold with about 1.5 hours of sun right before lunch.Today I worked turn 4 and picked up two bikes(more bumps and bruises). There were many red flags thrown mostly because of the weather and the VHT the dragracers use to aid traction on the front straight(which works great in the dry but is slipperier than oil in the wet). The most serious incident of the weekend was a broken arm in turn 8 on sunday...............ken.

I stopped by on Saturday for about 30 minutes before heading over the pass. It didn't seem too exciting. Probably because the weather was a little on the miserable side. I hope May is better. Auger, are you going to be there May 5th? Maybe I'll come say hi. :)

Yeah I won't be there either. I'm going to visit my buddy Sage down in Oregon that weekend. I'll try to catch the race after that... if I'm not off ripping up the dirt on my new bike. :D
