Hey all, I may have toasted my bike, but I'm still into sportbikes. So here's another probing thread from the one and only "Brutha".
I'm wondering how often most sportbike riders (like myself) ride their babies. For me, it was an everyday thing almost. "No rain: will ride. Light rain: will get wet" was (and is) my motto.
I bought my F4 in April. Actually started riding it on the 19th of April. I wrecked it on July 13th. That's 6 days short of 3 months for all you burned-out math geniuses. My odometer read 4,699 miles when the accident occured. This works out to be over 1,500 miles per month; or over 18,000 miles per year: whichever you prefer.
So...How many miles do you all ride and what is considered a lot and what isn't? Kinda curious because most people I know don't put that many miles on their machine in 2 years, let alone 1.
Anyway, this may seem like a worthless topic; and it very well may be, but humor me if you will.
That's it. I look forward to your responses. Have fun, ride safe, and DON'T TOAST YOUR BIKE!!! Trust me: IT SUX!!!
