Nope, we start this April.

Damn the Man! People have been fighting this change for 35 years, and Daniels makes it a sticking point for his term.

All of IN now observes it, most of us in Eastern time (makes sense, since we're lined up with all Central States  ), with only 12 counties staying in Central. I know Vigo has gone to Eastern and I think Vermillion is going to Central... that means Scott's going to have a fun commute!

Woohoo! Now I can get to work 30 minutes before I even get up. My trip home however will take 1.5 hrs to go 20 miles though....it'll be like commuting in California again!

Thanks Mitch! :finger:

Daylight Saving Time begins for most of the United States at 2:00 a.m. on the

First Sunday in April

Time reverts to standard time at 2:00 a.m. on the

Last Sunday of October.

Date change in 2007

On August 8, 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This Act changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. Beginning in 2007, DST will begin on the second Sunday of MARCH and end the first Sunday of NOVEMBER. The Secretary of Energy will report the impact of this change to Congress. Congress retains the right to revert the Daylight Saving Time back to the 2005 time schedule once the Department of Energy study is complete.

This is at http://webexhibits.org/daylightsaving/b.html .

This will make DST a month or so longer and a lot of people are not happy. Kids will be walking to and from school in total darkness. I saw something on TV that farmers and other groups say this change will raise hell with their schedules.

Or Queensland, but I wish to f*ck it did. I love d/s. Through the peak of Summer, the sun's up at about 4:30am here, which is ridiculous. The other eastern states have it, but we don't.
