I'm just wondering what changes were made on the R6 from the 1999 model year to the 2000 model year. Also, 1999 was the first year for the R6, correct? I'll probably be looking to buy one in 6-9 months and if I can't get a good deal on a new one, I'll most likely buy a used one. If a 99/00 is the same, I'll probably get a '99 since it should be cheaper. Thanks guys/girls!

Cool, thanks for the info. Another ?, do you know when the 2001 models come out, and what changes they have planned?

Thanks again,

That would be cool if they tweaked a few things. Does anybody know when the 2001 model are gonna come out?

Adding to SpeedPhreak's comment,

They better figure out a way to boost horsepower and make them out of styrofoam. ;)

That new GSXR600 is going to be as light as styrofoam even more so than the GSXR750. That is amazing. Reliability is still a huge question mark for the Suzukis now. Time will tell.
