This is the posting for the Wed night ride to Ann Arbor.

We meet at the gas station on the NE corner of M5 and 14 mile rd. We will leave the gas station by 7:15pm.

This time we might:
(a) go a little further out to eat,
(b) go more riding, less dining or
(c) same as before, ride to AA and eat there.

We can discuss that before we leave the gas station.

Wed night will be very nice and warm.

Well, the ride was nice.
We got to AA (at Jen's place) and settled in to the umbrella covered ourdoor tables. Watching the ladies and so on.

Boom! Lots of thunder and lightening. This goes on for about 10 minutes.

Then, a small sprinkle begins. No biggie.

About 10 minutes later and the drops get bigger. So, we head into the building and seat in one of the front window booths.

Suddenly, the rains come. Kind of Biblical-like we might float away.

So, we just sat inside and waited.

Justin had some food, Nelson and I drank Coke and waited.

About an hour later, all the rain was gone and the streets were drying out nicely.

We zipped back home without getting a drop of rain on us. M14 was mostly dry, though covered in a nice layer of fog.

We stayed in the left lane and just cruised home.

We will try again next wk.

As the days get longer during the summer, we can go further distances on our Wed night rides.

Glad you guys had a good ride and good to hear that you didn't get caught in the rain!!

I went out for a quick ride this morning (to the pharmacy then to the bank and then up to the school to drop of the kids' library books that they forgot at home) but it was hot as sh!t. Bike was heating up to 210 degrees and I was in a 35 mph zone. Yuck! Well, at least I got to ride today! ;)

HAHA While I was up at the school, some of the kids were on the playground closest to the parking lot. They all stared, pointed, called their friends over and said, "Hey that's Dakota's mom!" I guess that's the closest thing I'll get to celebrity status...LOL
