Good to hear from someone from the UK, welcome. It's always good to hear from someone who might have a different point of view, or to hear that the problems we have out here are there too.... after all misery loves company.

Personally the only thing I'm thinking about now it how much $ I should put into my bike, It's straight stock but quite old. I'll probally save the $ for a year and put it into a newer bike.

Oh one other thing. as a football (ie soccer) fan I just have to say Man U. sucks!!! :)

If the 2000 & 2001 are a different league, mine's a totally different game. it's an 88. I've riden a new cbr929 and a 99 zx9r.... and have decided it's time to quit riding my friends bikes, it's just too depressing.

YOU SHOULD TRY AND GET A ROAD TEST ON THE NEW 2001 GIXERS,THE R1 IS A SCOOTER COMPARED TO THE GIXER 1000.THE BLADES ARE GOOD BUT TOO HEAVY FOR THIS DAY AND AGE THE NEW BLADES ARE VERY LIGHT AND HANDLES LIKE A 250.

Your trying to kill me???? Going from a '88 750 to a '01 1000 would probably off me in about 2 weeks. If the bike doesn't do it, the wife will. Actually I've looked at a few bikes seriously but will have to wait till I can sell off one of my kids (( strong, works hard, eats table scraps, doesn't bitch too much, reasonable rate, price: 1- 2001 cbr929... or best offer)). :)

Also, I understand the vfr800 is in for a new model next year, If they can up the horsepower and drop the weight while keeping it comfortable, I may just have to get one.
