A american soldier was being laid to rest yesterday and i'll be damned if some dumb ass war protesters showed up at the cemetary and was starting crap ...The police finally escorted the group safely out of town...

Now if it would have been my relative that was being laid to rest i would have had a session of temporary insanity and shot, beat the no good bast**ds. The marine was killed in iraq and he deserves the respect of the people...

What would you do?
Should they be able to protest at funerals?

I am not really for the war but, protesting at funerals is absolutely rude. I think I probably might have started shit with them.

If it was a military funeral then too bad all they had was blanks for the 21 gun salute...
They may have been blanks, but the look on the protesters' faces, as the guns were trained on them and fired, would have been priceless.

I think their actions were absolutely disgusting. There's a time and place for voicing your opinions.

Totally wrong. Good gosh this was a funeral for not only a dead person & the attendance of his/her relatives & loved ones, but a soldier that died for the country's rights & freedom.

Hi All-

Nothing is worse than having a smelly hippy arrive at a somber ceremony for a fallen military hero. These leftwingers can find someplace else to express their misguided opinions.

It isn't a peace sign, it's the footprint of the American Chicken they are carrying around.

Did I mention I don't like hippies or their combination of patchouli oil and body odor?

p.s. The thoughts of hippy protestors at military funerals still nauseates me.

Hi Nailer45-

I think I'm probably a few years older than the girl in the picture, but thanks for the "smile" compliment! She is clearly another Second Amendment Sister like me! :) :burnout:

I am glad to see that other people feel as i do .. I wish the police would have at least beaten a few protestors or just tazered them.. The Families of the soldiers who have been killed in iraq truly deserve our honor and respect and understanding as we live to see another day becuase of the daughters/sons who died for our freedom..

I guess one way to set them straight would be to ask them what they would do if it was a son or daughter of thiers had been killed on 9-11 on one of the planes.. Make them actually think.

I lost 2 cousins in vietnam, 1 uncle in korea, 1 uncle in ww2. .
I just hope the families of all soldiers are soon without worry and the soldiers come home for good..
