Vacation???

What did eveyone go on vacation today?, not to many posts or even a remark to give me a laugh or smile. Oh well I guess everyone is out having fun in the twisties while I just sit here and think about the next part I sould buy. I kind of feel like a kid right now at christmas 'cause I just ordered a handfull of parts. I've even having trouble sleeping the last couple of nights waiting for the UPS man. I ordered my gastank, radiator, front pit bull stand, and the high mount akrapovic system. How do you post a picture that's not on a webpage, i.e pic's on a diskette from digital camera. I want to show work in progress. BTW does anyone know where I can pick up a spaner wrench that will hook up to a 3/8ths torque wrench so I can torque darn frame neck nut to the triple tree, or what ever it's called, relitivly inexpensive. I'm just going to leave a link to my yahoo photos instead of figure out how to upload a picture.

Either that or some good 'ol fashion payback, but I don't think I'd risk getting my butt in a sling over him. I can't stand not being able to ride, but even if I had a running bike I couldn't ride anyways because My left leg is in a cast :(

Thanks. I didn't have a particularly strong relationship with this lady, but the fact that I had just recently told her that she had X amount of days to find a job elsewhere in the company or I was severing her from the company has me kinda feeling weird. It was all done with complete basis, and she took the news very well, but nonetheless...

Sounds like you have your head on straight regarding the guy that wrecked your bike. Hope your leg heals as quick as your bike, or vice versa!

You have more vision than I'd have John. Best of luck with the rebuild. I know what you mean about this site being slow the last couple days. It's just not the same without having RCJohn to pick on--hope they're all having a good time though.

Nah, no vacation, John, I just don't like you. :D Just kidding!! Glad to see that your bike is slowly getting pieced back together. I don't know how you can stand being bikeless, though I might as well be because I haven't been able to find the time for riding for the past two weeks. Were you ever able to get any money out of your "friend"? (you were the one whose friend crashed your bike, right?)

Speaking of slow, I'm gonna be a little slow on the boards today. When I got into the office this morning, I had a voicemail telling me that one of my employees, a 54 yr old female, died unexpectedly in her sleep yesterday. Kinda threw a wrench in the gears for my department, if you know what I mean.

When I broke my hand years ago , I had to cut the cast off after a couple days.. I felt so vulnerable, Kinda like when Rcjohn just keeps looking at you ,while smiling (fluttering his eyelashes)and muttering to himself for no apparent reason ...

what you can do is use your yahoo id, to start a geocities.com page. but don't start the page if you don't want it, instead you now have free storage for pics. the ubb needs a web address to point to, that's it.

once it has it, it's good, no real page needed. hope that helps (a little, i'm sure it doesn't), robert can correct me if i'm wrong.

so you can type '
and you'll get this...

btw, i looked at your pics, and did your friend live through that (mean the ass whoopin', not the wreck).

Well I can't go to geocities. I use my computer at work and they regulate. I don't have a computer anymore. I guess I'll just have to save everything top my yahoo briefcase and add a link. Can you say divorce? I guess I spent to much time with cars and bikes than her. I didn't think so, but I guess she thought differently. Oh well, One day I'll find a significant other thast is into the mechanics of machines. :)

Vacation???-Took my bike on a week long trip through the Kootenays and Canadian Rockies in July.Went to Sportbike West(sportbike rally)in Kelowna in Aug(467 bikes registered, there would have been more but the weather was not co-operating).Corner worked the Spokane motorcycle races on Labour Day weekend.

Vacation? What's that? I haven't been off from work since February, what with changing jobs and all in May. In my new job I am not allowed to take off in the first 6 months, so my first vacation is the end of December!

Sorry to hear about what happened at work, Pete. Just remember, stuff happens and we can never figure out why...
