1.) The Valkyrie is, in the oldest strata of belief, a corpse goddess, represented by the carrion-eating raven. The name in Old Norse, valkyrja, means literally, "chooser of the slain." The Valkyrie is related to the Celtic warrior-goddess, the Morrigan, who likewise may assume the form of the raven.

Above from http://www.dolls-n-daggers.com/Valkyrie.html

2.) The Book of World Records calls the spine-tailed swift the "fastest bird on the level, reaching 106 mph," and crowns the peregrine "fastest bird on earth" for a diving speed of 217 mph.

If I'm not mistaken the Hayabusa is the japanese name for the peregrine falcon.

I could also be full of shit too. :twofinger

Actualy You got them both. :thumb:

Valkyrie is also a viking goddess of was. She flew over the battlefield collecting the souls of the fallen vikings, and delivering them to a form of heaven for those killed honorably in battle. I didn't expect these two to get answered so fast. Next time I'll have to think of something harder.
