Yesterday DEFINATELY rocked!!Got to take a ride up to Shamokin, which is an event in itself, except this time, I was "shown how it was done" by none other than Chris_y2k_r1. Started out pretty foggy in the morning, so we decided to go up 309n and see how the weather progressed.. The fog burned away and the roads dried up, so we took 895 west all the way to 61..Nothing too crazy, just a nice windy country road...Chris made it EXTREMELY intersting,, riding mile long wheelies, followed by 50foot stoppies at every opportunity...To any and all who might doubt this guy's abilities, even slightly....let me tell you...Chris is without a doubt...THE REAL DEAL....I can only assume that he's great in the twisties, cause' once he got moving,, that's all she wrote....I did get to smell his brake pads from time to time..
It was really cool to ride 125 when it was dry and sunny. The last two times I went out, it was too damp, in the shady areas...As an FYI, it would be a misnomer, to call Chris "squidly", because a squid is usually doing assinine/wreckless stunts, without real control. Chris on the other hand, excecuted ALL maneuvers with true precision, and excellant road etiquette.(He didn't even get pissed about having a boat anchor, like me tailing him.
Thanks Chris!!! You definately earned a serious "two thumbs up"!
