Okay.... due to a newfound CRACK in my frame, I'll be getting a new frame in and building it soon. Swapping all the parts onto the new frame from the old.

Well... since I will have a bare frame to begin with I was wondering if you thought I should go ahead and polish it out? I don't think I'd mind the work initially, but exactly how much maintenance is involved after the initial polishing? I don't want to spend an hour every weekend re-polishing instead of riding.

Thanks AGAIN!

In my opinion POLISH!! Persoanlly i dont know what the big hype is on polishing..Yes, initally to get there it takes some work, but the results are sweet..I dont know why everyone says the maintainence is so overwhelming...For the average rider who gives a chyyt about there bike, cleans it on a regular basis..So whats the big deal to take some xtra time out to polish as well..I polish my bike w/ mother's once a week...& thats suiatable..Keep in mind it may not stay perfect, but neither does your bike after you wash it and go for a ride....It still gets dirty...

All you have to do is give a chyyt, if your bike is polished.. Freshin it up once in a while If you would rather have an xtra hour riding and not polishing then dont polish....Or If your lazy & dont like to keep up on your bike in general, then dont polish it...But as i said the appearance is everlasting :D And if you dont then everytime you see a polished bike, you'll probably wish you did....Hmmmmmm choices
