Hey guys,
Quick question-what is the optimal tire pressure should be:
Front and Back tire?
From my manual to Gixxer 750 it says front 36 psi and back 42 psi but some of my friends told me they keep up like 32 and 36psi.
Also for a wheelies on the low speed I've seen that back tire is going REALLY low on air that creates better traction with the surface.
Anyone knows the answer?
Thank you in advance.

I'd stick to what the manual says... or the tire manufacture says... yes deflating your tires will create more traction area but it also breaks down the tire over time... and as a result they won't last as long... also not much of an issue on bikes but you'll loose gas mileage by under inflation... in the end it's up to you... but "OPTIMAL" is what the manufacture says.... they've done the R&D:cheers:

EDIT: Also there is also a "Tire Expert" on here... you can e-mail questions and ask himhttp://more.sportbikes.com/ezine/topics.php?topicId=7

On my Yamaha YZF600r, the Honda 929 & 954 I put the front at 32psi & rear is 36psi. The idea of 41psi at the rear is to much to my liking.
