Did I see a HD plug about them introducing hydraulic f/forks in such & such a yr? The Brits had them on bikes back in 1937, not all but some. By 1947 they were on ALL Brit irons. Remember that HD loved its foot clutch & hand gear change till it became a demand to change over. Same with their ridged rear ends till they were forced into a s/arm suspension. Ask anyone familiar with m/cs & they will tell you of all the poor Harley m/cs with their lst electric starting systems & how so many failed or actually burned up.
Still the bit on the MSF was good!!!!

So comes the question, if the Brits had hydraulic f/forks just prior to WWII (that is prior to '39 for most of you) what did the HD people use? Yes bloody old "springers" that so many want back as well as ridged rear ends ------ strange people to say the least!!!!!!!
