Cheak out the pics of 1-4's new shag tool and drowl...

Are we looking at the resurgence of the 750's again ... and if so, how apt that it would be the GSXR750 to bring it to us ...

My predictions for the future .......

600's will prove to be piles of shit. Sure they are 'fun' on the track cause you have to work your arse off to keep them in the sweet spot .. but overall ... why not have a 750 to give you just that little bit more flexability .... with very little compromise attached .... kind of like having a 28 yo mistress instead of the pert little 20 yo. If your going to do it .... then .. do it.

1000's will continue to provide the fasination for all, however as power increases, so will the fear (smooth power delivery or not), and for track day venturers .. more power = more moments .. and this has a proportional affect on the size of a mans penis .... so, these will be relegated to the posers podium .. as they always have been in the past

750's .... the ultimate compromise and true trackday specialist, with enough flexibity to make it on the road .... and Yamaha will prove this by releasing the R7 again calling it the R7RRwhich will be a complete weapon ... Kwaka will give us the ZX7RR ... and honda will launch the CBR750, it's first ever exclusive monster ...

So what's stopping them ... well, silly race regulations .... which give us a 250GP two stroke class and a 600cc Supersport class ..

No then .....when GP drops its two strokes ... going for a 600cc doesn't make much sense .... World Supers has this ... so how about a 750cc Supersport class racing factory ultra exotics .... oww ... now there is a thought ....

Gotta agree with the Wombat

The 750 class is a dead duck, dont handle like a 600 and dont have the power of a 1000 its the worst of both worlds.

Its like when your burd cant decide if she wants to go out looking sexy or looking like your mum. Usually ends out in a compromise and she looks like your mum in high heels and a short skirt :hurl:

Cant see a 750 race class in the ral world but who knows what the yanks will think up in between invasions :)

With the 250 class gone the logical progression would be Moto GP rules 600 racing. That would leave SBK with production based 600 and 1000 racing. If SBK went on the true Super sport rules for 600 and 1000 like Asia pac it could revitalise interest.

The main reason for the death of 750's is insurance groups, if Im not wrong a 750 is virtually the same as a 1000 when it comes to insurance in Europe so you might as well get the 1000.

Wombat!!!..... that reminds me of the classic joke about their lack of compassion - they eat, roots and leaves :p

and the seven fifty costs almost the same to take out of the showroom... and the same to maintain, and run and... so why?

The main thing for me is (in the past at least) the 750 feels like the spanner monkeys forgot to plug in the second two plug leads :D

Having met a good number of your fellow Wombats I can say with some confidence that an Ausie spanner monkey leaving a couple of plug leads off is quite possible. Lets face it most if you guys cant tie your own shoe laces hence the bush whacker boots being elasticated :twofinger

With the liter bikes handling like 600cc machines? The 750 is toast. I wouldnt mind owning a 750 but theres only the suzuki.

An ya cannee mix the two, espceically at Sepang.

Sure the 750 is quick, but its bigger brother can baulk it in the corners and use the additional power to overhaul it down the straights.

My vote is definitely the thou.
