Man, I'm getting tired of this...

I'm gonna bitch here cuz I need to vent and I am sooo tired of looking at this screen...

I'm tired of trying to write a damm paper that I care nothing about... I'm tired of working crappy jobs cuz of school, having no money, study, study, study, and the freakin snow is coming soon so then I will depressed cuz I live in the land of DARKNESS for 5 months of the year.... AHHHHHHHH! Okay, I'm feeling a tad better.... Ya know what, I think all that crap your parents tell you about working for a living being crappy when your grown up is a load of junk... I can't wait to be done with school and have a real job... I can't wait to go buy 100 bucks worth of groceries at a time, know that I have money to pay bills and then some and then walk into the nearest bike dealership, stick out my finger, point at my (insert $$$ bike here) and drive away a happy girl...

Anyone else here tired of being in school or am I just a looser...

Don't answer that.. I'm done feeling sorry for myself now...

C.B.R. CHICK....

I've had a real job for quite some time now. My advice to you is suck it up and hang in there. Without that education you may not get a job that allows you to buy $100 worth of groceries at a time and go into the nearest dealer and point your finger at the RC 51 :D and drive it away.

Keep the faith and hang tough. You can do it. BTW, I just started back on a program to finish my degree, so you may need to save this and send it to me in a few months. ;)

Hey what's wrong with snow ? You should snowboard.. then you'll love SNOW :)

Ya I'm really tired of school too ... ;) I shouldn't be yanking your chain , I hated school too, Your going to be a nurse or something ?? Whats that like 4 years ?? How many years left ?

But for real though I don't like working... But the feeling of security, responible and being needed surpasses the bad stuff.
My best advice is hang in there :) Oh and If you can take a Year off and just Find yourself or whatever , Do it ... Ir's one thing I regretted.

Ditto. It's 85 degress here right now. Had to break out the vented leathers to go riding, and I'm heading to the Streets of Willows this weekend for a Keith Code school.

Whatchya majoring in? I might need some employees by this time next year.

Heya Photo Bug...

I'm a 3rd year nursing student getting my BSC in nursing... Hoping to into critical care/emergency....

If you'll pay me 40 grand starting out, fly me down to get a place to live, give me a signing bonus of at least 3 grand and subsidize my housing for a year then I'll at least consider your offer... ;) If not, I'm heading to Arizona, New Mexico, or Tenn. ...

Squid Wanna Beeeeee... You think your soooo smart cuz you can make coffee huh? Well I can to, but why should PhotoBug have to go to all the work to drink it when I can directly infuse it into a vein via a N/S IV lock at a rate of 125 cc/hour... Sitten back and relaxen is all I'm offering... Drinking is too much physical work... ;)

Kirsty.. ;)

Tennessee... yeah! No state income taxes, at least for now. We have a bunch of sick bastards down here. Critical care nurses are quite busy, "What happened sir?"... "Well, I was cleanin ma gun when...".

Some of the best sportbike riding in the world is right here in East Tenn, North GA and Western NC. Oh, and Laura and Connie need women to ride with too. I know how you women stick together. ;)

Listen to RCJohn he knows what he is talking about. East TN, North GA, and Western NC are some of the best riding areas any place in the country! Also we can ride almost year around :D So transfer to a school down south.

Kristy, I feel ya. I work 48+ hours and go to school full time. Between last fall, summer, and spring I took 46 hours as well as started my new job. I am burned out and ready to quit, but as John said, gotta have the degree.
I play on the computer all night at work though. I dont even use the one at home anymore.
I decided to come home after the military to FSU in the WARM south. You decided to move to Halifax? Was that the only school in the western hemisphere with what you want or any particular reason to move to the great white north? Please don't say a man, whom you are now seperated from.

In the past 9 months of school, I have taken 56 credit hours. I feel ya' Kirsty. School can sometimes be a real b-t-h. Just stick with it. I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering at what I believe to be one of the toughest schools in the nation
(Kettering Univ./GMI). It does suck sometimes, but I know that once I get the degree, it will all be worth it.

Heya Funksouljohn....

I'm actually a Canadian citizen but I lived down in Texas for 17 years cuz ma' father worked for Shell...

I was actually born in Assen, Holland so I am all over the place... I moved up here because all of my extended family is here and because the program for nursing is, in my opinion, much better... I get more clinical time through out the year and Canadian trained nurses are in great demand in the States... (where I will actually make some money)

Anyway, Halifax is a very nice, safe city and I can get to everything pretty much within walking distance or good old public transportation... The weather in the winter is a bit of a downer... But I wouldn't trade it for the deathly hot and sticky Houston summers I had to endure as a kid...

The summers here rock, I can see the ocean out my apartment window, and I am all of 5 mins away from seaside curves... HAving to put my bike away for the snow isn't so terrible because it only gives me something to look forward to come April when things start to get above freezing...

This is my 5th year of university and like everyone, I am ready to be done... I will have been in school for 6 years by the time I get my BScN and I'm just tired of working crappy, low paying jobs where noone respects you or takes you seriously...

I appreciate all of ya'll for being soo sweet and sharing your stories... I don't really complain a lot.. I'm just getting annoyed with the whole process and I am ready for my life to begin...

Anyway, off to class with ma' ass...

Chat with ya'll later...

KIRSTY!!

Almost every year I get down when the
seasons start to change because I know I
have to put away the bike and the days are
going to get cold and short. I think everyone
goes through it especially the furter north
you get.

Your almost there baby, you know it. Light
at the end of the tunnel is much much closer
than it was when you started. I think you
need to get a good night out with some friends
as soon as you get a chance and get a good
healthy does of multi-male attention, which
ofcourse is open to your interpretation ;)

If we interpret that the same, that is illegal in Kanada, right?
Kirsty, hot warm does it get in the summer up there?

Kirsty,

Stick it out. You don't want to be like me - no education, house payment, lots of bills, child support = better new wife :D, 1 suv, 1 bike, and I only make $13.52hr. I would trade with you anyday, but then again, if I was a woman I would be rich and on my back  cause I'm easy :)
Just kidding - stay in school and in a couple of years when you do get those $100 groceries, maybe you'll donate some of it to help out the less fortunate and decide that money is only paper, it whats inside that really pays off.

Heya His_Suz

Thanks for the 'ol pep talk.. ;) I know what ya mean, I know money isn't everything... I don't suffer in the least (Thank you loans!!) I'm just kinda tired of working in jobs that don't come anywhere close to paying me for the hard work I do... Worrying about the lack of money I have to spend on the essentials... And I get tired of not being apprecitated.... I guess that's kinda why I like the prospect of finishing school and being an RN... No matter where I go, I might be worked to death, but people will appreciate me and I them... At least my patients anyway and they will always be the most important thing to me....

Anyway, I ramble... ;)

FunkSoulJohnny...

How warm does it get up here in the summer? Well, in Halifax, by the water... About 30 degrees or around 94 is the hottest I've ever felt it.... It get ups into the 40's or close to 100 in the Western provinces.... BUT, it doesn't last long, thank god...

K.
