OK I was browsing the Suzuki website and saw something that caught my eye, it was a new 650cc. GSX-650F The 650f isn't a v twin but an Inline 4. When did they release this?I heard nothing about in any mags, and they didn't even show this at the Motorcycle show. Is this a rival to Kawasaki's new 650? Is it something Suzuki released in Asia and Europe, now we finally get a taste here in the states? Or is it really a detuned Gixxer? From the blurb it sounds like it has more guts then the GS500f, and might take to the twisties pretty nicely. It looks like a bastard child but it grows on me. Maybe when I am ready for a brand new bike this is something I can see myself riding. If you guys know anything about this let me here from you.

P.S. Will be taking my MSF course next week, kick ass dudes. Wish me luck.

GSX-650F

Yeah, it is meant as a more mellow, perhaps introductory bike. It is leaps and bounds ahead of the GS-500F though. It basically has the same engine as the Euro market Bandit 650. Should make about 75 rear wheel horsepower. Basically an upsized version of the Bandit 600 we used to have stateside a few years ago. If they keep the price right, it should provide competition to the Kawasaki Ninja 650R. However, I personally don't see how it could not end up cannabalizing sales of their own SV-650.

I think it will give people a choice for which 650 they want, a V-Twin or an I4. They both make about the same HP to the rear wheel (+- 5HP). Also, the SV650S has the clip on bars where the GSX650S has the motocross style bars (I think).

Suzuki is one of the best brand of bikes and peoples love to ride this brands bikes. GSX 650 is very nice bike and it gives great suspension and nice pick up as well. People went towards it and they love to ride this bike and we can run it on the normal roads as well.
