Beware of ebay...Whats there is not always what you get or want. The prices are always misleading what with shipping and all. Try www.newenough.com for used gear. Personally I go with gear from a dealer as I can try it on and/or return it if need be. Buying secondhand gear is kinda iffy to me. You're trusting yards of skin to it, wouldnt you want to make sure its perfect not, uh, 'tested'?

I've bought lots of stuff on Ebay and have never been disapointed. Just make sure you pay attention to read the seller's feedback and what shipping costs are. I did buy my helmet local though so that I could be sure about the fit.

My personal rule for buying on eBay is to consider each purchase a potential complete loss. Throw out $50 toward a guy w/ good feedback and buy a jacket that he doesn't like the color of anymore? Sure, worth a shot. Buy a $1000 leather suit from a guy who just registered, doesn't have good description/language skills and only accepts money order? No dice. You know the one...

Limittted Editon Jo Rokett "Migeul Duhommel" leather suit. New w/ tags, never warn. Slite damge too left knee, hip and eblow and scuffs on butt. Callectibul!
