Info came from Barry at Raceline Motosports

"The Shah Alam circuit will be closed for good this coming
Monday, Dec 16. Apparently, this Sunday ( Dec 15) there will
be people going to the circuit to appeal and of cos going for thier last ride! Those need to know more can turn up at the circuit and see what happens....."

Nice idea turning up to show support but if its been decided its a done deal and a few bikers tuning up for a last ride wont change a thing. If they had turned up in any significant numbers throught the year it might not be closing at all.

I might take a drive down after the race to get a few historic pictures and do a few hitoric wheelies.

Just think how much better things would be if Shah Alam was on our door step instead of Pasir Gudang !

A few pics from Shah Alam, I for one will miss it :crying:

Sad to hear.....

That track holds legendary status in my books.

It's where I lost my track virginity and it was the venue for my first ever GP visit as well as first time in the GP paddocks....unforgettable.

Might make a trip down with ya Tug say bye to the old lady...I'm going to miss her...

You forgot the best one??

This post is just crying out as an opp. for me to bathe in the glory of my international track debut...... and stick it to my good mate Tug (again) at the same time

Sad to hear about the close :crying: :crying: is without doubt a great little track with plenty of history. I'll always remember the day I was lucky enough to give it a rip!! :D
