Just wondering if there are any other new owners of this bike out there.
I just got it in September (sucks that it was near the end of the season, I live in Canada - winter comes early).
I love the bike except they made it a little too light. Wind and tractor trailers sure move you around. One modicfication I will make in the spring is an upgrade on the windshield. I'm a taller guy and the factory shield is just directing the wind right into my forehead.
Other than that riding position is great, good on fuel and has plent of power for two cylinders.
The design is pretty stylish too.
Looking forward to next summer so I can hit the highway on my first tour.
Cortect bags are good, the sports are small. MOTO-PAK ? have good rep, discounted thru several web sites. Check your spring sag, check preload, likely a respring will steady bike. If you can get free demensions rear spring and in/lb or kg/mm, should be changeable. Hyperpro has pricey progressive spring kit.
I went to steve and barrys, found 2 carry on bags.they look like computer bags.cut off the shoulder straps.stiched 2 small bungie cords under them, and water proofed them.8 bucks each and a little work.sold!they also have big flaps that cover the zippers.so far, they work great.to look at them you would think that their throw overs for a bike.
