My S-Hawk has the reflector brackets attached to the bike with what the service manual calls "trim clips." How do you remove these suckers? Do you poke something into the tip? I tried that with a heavy gauge paper clip, but if that's what you're supposed to do, you must have to press HARD, because I got nothing out of the effort but a sore set of fingers.

HELP!

Are they metal or plastic? If they llok like metal, they are probably rivets like the ones on my RR. If that is the case, just carefully drill the rivet out. That's what I had to do.

I thought "trim clips" were what gynocologists use as a "doorstop" during examinations.

They look like they are riveted to me, so Don's advice about drilling would seem appropriate.
