Well I got back from overseas in the end of March. Active duty contract ended and I re-enlisted in the Army reserves. Sadly, civilian life and I are getting along like this :finger: . I hate my retarded jobs, the bullshit drama, the bills and the boredumb. I got out as an E5. I'm almost positive I will be going back onto active duty. But, I want a different MOS, and I don't want to lose any rank. Anyone know if I can re-enlist, stay permanant party at AIT for whatever MOS I decide to go with and not lose my status as an NCO? I will more than likely be going into a combat arms field. 55B isn't cuttin it anymore. booorrriiinnng. Anyone know what the deal is with these 18x contracts they're offering now? Straight out of the box, put me through AIT then probably have to redo Airborne school and SOPC and SOCCOM training. Not tryin to sound all fuckin hooah and be billy badass, but I think I could honestly see myself being that guy. I hate civilian life, am bored with america. Why not go teach guerilla warfare throughout the world and get paid boat for it? If anyone has any info (the non recruiter propaganda bullshit version) I'd be very interested. Any rangers on the board? Lookin to do somethin more exciting than run an ASP and hang out at the FARP. Let me know what you guys think, or if you think I should suck it up and go to school and enjoy not being deployed.
