Radar Detector?

Anyone know of a good radar detector? I've been looking, but no luck. In the area (Phoenix) there are only a couple of places that have detectors with earphone jacks. If you would post a model and a web address or store that you purchased it from, I would appreciate it. I'm doing a 2000 mile trip in a couple of weeks.

There is more information on Radar detectors within Sportbikeworld. You just need to do a search. One thing you will find is that a lot of people think extremely highly of the Valentine One Radar/Lazer detector. I would have to agree. It's one of the best ones out there. I have it for my car, and I never drive without it. I still haven't gotten the adapter for my bike yet, but I plan on it.

Here's the url to their site: http://www.valentine1.com/home.asp

You can only order directly from that company.

I totaly agree. Don't mess around with any other radar detector, get the best, because U don't want to B breaking really hard for a false alarm. The Valentine has a directional system, where it will tell U if the radar source (cops) are comming @ U from the side, front or the back. Check out there remote setup, it's perfect 4 bikes. Good luck.
