I'm thinking about moving up from my ex500 and getting a middleweight bike.... I'm very fond of the R6.... I know its fast and looks saxxay as hell but more importantly, is it reliable? I dont want a bike that needs working on every other week... Thanks for your help guys.

pretty much any japanese sports bike are reliable. Honda is more then others, but as long as you do normal maintence, they'll run quite awhile. r6's are good, but if your still learning, honda has the best learning curve for new and semi-new riders.

i just find it funny that you own an ex500, want an R6 but your screen name is hondalover :twofinger

all japanese bikes are pretty reliable in my opinion, if you're buying used you just have to be wary and go over it w/ rlly well before the purchase.
