The exhaust on my K100rs developed a number of cracks on the welds and needed to be replaced.

Rather than go with the $tock $ystem I thought I would upgrade to an aftermarket system to add a bit of HP and make the bike a bit different.

Well, I decided to go with a staintune stainless steel system, which looks good and sounds great. But, and here's the catch, the bike feels as if it is severely restricted and doesn't pull away on the top end as it used to!

The question I have is (a) does anyone know of a good dyno operator in the LA area who could remap the Fuel Injection chip to suit the new exhaust. (b) could there be another cause for the lack of top end resulting from the exhaust?

Thanks for any help,

Wish I knew a dyno operator in the L.A. area, but being from the S.F. Bay Area I can't help you there.

Even though your bike feels restricted, I would suspect it is running lean with the Staintune exhaust. If you don't get it corrected ASAP you run the risk of burning your valves.
