Miaco / 1975 / 250

Or : scrambler / the dark ages / yes.

Or : Haven't a bloody clue with out google !! :D

What's Miaco

No it's not a Maico ;)

It 's not a scambler. It's an Enduro bike :D
That's how they looked back in 1973! OOOps I almost gave it away.

BTW who said you can't use google? I use it myself

Hint: google won't help you much with this one I'm afraid :p
It would be helpful to look closely at the engine cases though.
It says SACHS! You see I was in a generous mood this morning and didn't hide this

Hey Tigetex!

I guess I didn't check the Penton as thoroughly as I should have, my apologies :)

Actually it seems that you got as close as it gets!

Penton was in partnership with the firm that made these bikes originally and was marketing them in the US.

I'm sure you can find it now ;)

In any case your answer is partly correct as the bike looks exactly the same except for minor details.

Well, is it a KTM Penton with a Sachs Motor?

I found this picture, a couple of slight differences. This bike has front brakes, the bike we are trying to identify does NOT have front brakes. Also the exhaust exit is different on this bike then the bike in question, but I found pictures of other sachs motors with the exhaust exiting in the same routing as the bike in question.
