Well I have finally got my bike fixed. I blew the engine in my 01 r6 at the end of last season, and spent the winter searching for a good deal. I found a 2002 engine with 2200 miles on it in S.C. about 1 month ago. Ive had it in and running for about a week and a half, and it runs great!!!!! I dont know if this engine is quicker than the last, or if its just that I had a 6 month downtime from riding for the first time in a couple of years but it deffinately feels quicker. Of course it has 14000 less miles than the original!!! I havent had it dynoed yet but am interested to see the difference, of course that wont be accurate either because I havent had it dynoed for a couple of years and have installed a pipe and jet kit since. The front wheel seems to come up way quicker on acceleration to (when Im not trying). Of course the new clutch doesnt hurt on the intentionals either :D . Well either way Im on the Road Again and it feels great. Happy and safe riding season to all. :thumb:

Six months is a long wait especially when it started off with what to do with a blowen engine. Good to hear you are back on the road.
