Sorry guys, got carried away.

When you hate a whole group of people for the actions of a few you are really no differant than those you purport to hate.

I'm the eldest of 13 children, an old line biker family.
We run the gamut from the scraggly looking outlaw to the cleancut professional.

Sure there are a few Hardley riding morons around, we have all run into them but to tell the truth I have run into a lot of moron sportbikers too. That is probably because that is the group I socialize with.

This is my old man on the front of this Hardley in 1944 somewhere in England. He prefered a German machine called the Zundap. He loved riding my Triumph and Hondas.

Your absolutely right Eyeball, there is exceptions to every rule. Not all Harley guys fit the stereotype, for that I apalogize. But most are very pigheaded about their bikes, and will defend them to the death. I believe in brand loyalty(although I do not practice it, I buy what moves me and what I feel will give me the most for my money) but most Harley guys have that attitude I stated before. "If it's not a Harley, then it's not a bike". I think you can get a lot more for your money than a freakin Harley! That's just my 2 cents. I have a cruiser, it's a Harrey....well ok a Yamaha Midnight Star. It is 1602cc of reliable badass lookin metal. It will dust any stock Harley and wont break down, and it cost anywhere from 7 to 10 thousand less. But it's not a HARLEY, so it's not a bike.:finger: I just don't feel like getting raped for an inferior bike, just cause it says HARLEY DAVIDSON! Damn a reocurring theme here......so I gues that's enough.

In the end it's what ever makes you happy:cool:

Harleys cant turn, brake or accelerate like a sport bike, but if it's got two wheels and a proud owner thats ok by me. Horses for courses... My dad has a thunderbird my Nice's Godfather has a Harley a work friend of mine has a V-Star. I dont like their bikes but they do and I wouldn't knock them for their bad taste...

On the other hand motorcycle gangmembers around here earnt there reputations... to the Coffin Cheaters & Rebels in the South-West of Australia Kiss my ass.

One in the same?

Sportbikers and H.D. riders have so much in common, that is the reason they dislike each other so much. When they look in the mirror they see each other and they hate it. Like picking on your younger brother? You dudes will argue till death do you part (like a married couple) My Johnsons bigger , better, Mine does this, mine does that, mine costs this, mine is more than yours, mine is real yours if fake. Each group loves there bikes for what ever reasons (personal choise) and will defend that bike type or brand like a dog defending his turf. See you all are so much alike it is scarry. See my bike yep its a Buell M2 Cyclone, I get snubed by the Harley dudes cause its not a real Harley. I buy the bike the parts and all acceries at the same store, H.D. owns Buell but its not a real bike I get snubed.:finger: You sport riders do the same thing to me? Buell Ha Ha its not a real sport bike. You all just can't wait to tell my how crappy and shittie my choise of bike is. It's unrealiable, its junk it's not fast enough, you can't win a race ( I don't race, I just ride some what fast for fun) It's not a real bike.:finger: So heres to two different groups of bikers that have so much in common they act and sound the same. (juvinile):finger:

I think it all depends on the person. There are a-hole harley riders and a-hole sportbike riders, there is an a-hole in all groups out there.
I was at my uncles BBQ at the watsonville air show on sat, he has a hanger and a big party. He just bought my aunt a harley, he has one, and a couple of his friends brought theres. So I had the only sportbike there. Those guys were the nicest people, gave rides to all the little kids, as did I, and werent out to impress or talk sht. (also if you were there and saw a bike on the runway parking lot it wasnt me, I think he was speeding. ever been on a runway, nothing like it):)

Family History...

My Father is 94 and has been riding since the thrities. He just bought a new bike last week. He use to race for Norton (hill climb).

My Father lives in Stockton Missouri and rides everyday.

My Father laughs at Harley riders because historically he knows that they are junk and the people who ride them are either yuppies or toothless white trash.

Harleys suck and the people who like them are inbred scum sucking pigs!

PS: XUCK you, your brothers, sister and mother or any other half bred incestuous kin who have.

There are prize arse holes in all classes of m/cing---

---my lst bike in '45 was a '38 Harley 45 flat head. I grew up riding Harleys & Indians up on the hills/backwoods, & on the streets/hwys along with flat tracking & dirt hill climbing with them. Still when it came to Scrambling (MX), Enduros, Cross Country, Observed Trials & road racing that is when we switched to the Brit irons. After a while it became the types of bikes we used most often.
Great HATE war went on between Harley & Indian riders till the Brit irons became so popular & suddenly the hate was between the Harely & Indian riders AGAINST those on Brit or the few European irons.
Needless to say when the small dinky Japanese bikes came out with 50 to 125cc with just 'springer' f/forks (you know the tele forks with just springs in them), we sort of looked at all these stupid Nip rice grinders to even the so called improved versions, still wondering if they would ever come up with proper engine sizes & suspensions. Obviously they were into it in the mid-60s & look at it now.
Took me a while as I was basically a Greeves or Bultaco rider when it came to dirt comp & still a lot of good 'used' Brit irons, but I shifted in '74 to my lst Japanese dirt bike (as a back up) & '77 to a Honda four.
Seems so many of the Harley & other sort of American big V-twin riders are saturated with die-hard HD riders along with the Newbies. There are some darn good HD riders that I can get along with.
STILL we have a maze or prize twits in our field of sportbikes from newbies to those with 1 to 5 yrs or more of experience & they put me to shame when they try to degrade others ---- for I always go back to thinking of the days when HD & Indian riders hated each other & the continual changes from the late 40s till now!!!!!!!!!!

Degrade...

I don't know or care where I may fit into your analogy but I started riding in 1953 and haven't stopped. I have said it before and I'll say it again. I don't like Harleys or the cocksuckers who ride them!

Do you understand that? I don't care if your having anal sex with a group of Harley riders. I don't care if your mother, brothers or sisters were molested by a Harley geek. I don't care.

The Harley motorcycle is the most dysfunctional piece of crap made in todays world. The people that buy them are clueless status seekers or outright low life toothless hillbillies.

The Harley Sorts Bike version is a joke!!! The Buell is crap and only a idiot would buy one.

Harley riders like to use the "Buy American" theme when in fact 60 percent of the components are made in Japan. The new V-Rod has a german engine.

I have been to a Harley warehouse and seen the warehouses stacked to the ceilings with boxes stamped "Made in Japan"!

So who are the Harley cocksuckers trying to fool??? Most of them drive a Japanese car or truck or live in trailer parks stuffed full of japanese electronics.

Is there ANY Japanese bike that isn't superior to anything Harley EVER made???? LMFAO!!!

Some of you retards turn my stomach with your profound ignorance!:barf:

jersy: my compliments to you 94 yr old father that recently purchased a new bike. Man he is 22 yrs my senior. Oldest rider I personally know is 75 yrs of age, but understand there are a rear few in their early 80s that are still riding. STILL you 94 yr old father has to be No. 1.
Curosity, but what held you back from riding till '53, for I was illegally riding in '45 at 15 yrs of age (in the backwoods & hills on a HD 45 flat head) & legally in '46 & come '53 I was probably one of the best comp riders in Western Canada?

Hey Smitty...

God your OLD!:) I was 14 in 53 and my first ride came from Sear's Robuck. My Father still rides to Kansas City twice a week and to Denver every month.

He carries a tent & camping stuff. He gave up Sport Bikes in 85 after hitting some gravel on a tight curve & ripping his knees off.

I visit there every couple years and (float plane) to some fishing camps. Is there anywhere as pristine as Canada.
