Hello everyone!

Does anyone know where can I buy genuine Suzuki oil and oil filter online for use in my 04 GSX-R 600?

Thanks in advance!

I don't know about Suzuki oil, but some Suzuki dealers have online ordering capability for parts. I order from my local store online simply because they don't always stock the factory filters. Use http://www.rosevillecyclecenter.com if you can't find a local dealer. The location doesn't matter anyway.

You do not have to use SUZUKI ONLY products because you have a Suzy bike. In fact many of the after-market oil filters are just as good. Personally on my Yamaha & Honda bike I use aftermarket filters & a synthetic oil called Motul, but would not hesitate to use bulk oil from any of the Big Four Jpn m/c firms or Castrol GTX or others.

Any SE or SF motor oil of the viscosity weight recommended for your bike is fine, either motorcycle oil or car oil.

Do not use any car oil with the "Energy Conserving" label or sticker on it as it may screw up your clutch..

Just do not us car oil with extra slippage & of all things I cannot recall what letters to look out for. Possibly someone will supply that to you & later on it may come to mind & I will add it to this post.
The API starburst on oil is what you want to avoid since it has friction modifiers that can mess with our wet clutches.

I use ROTELLA T 5-40 synthetic or ROTELLA 15-40 DINO (mineral) oil. Walmart or auto parts stores ( Devac too).
$16 GALLON SYN, $ 8 GALLON REG.
Google oil for info.
Suzuki use Napa / Hastings filters.
Google "oil filters" info.
Flatoutmotorcycles.com best prices, call or on line, may ship slow.

Far as I know Suzuki uses threads that limit oil filter choices. Anyone? I use PureOne.
I use what I can get locally - NAPA Gold, on my RF900. Don't know if it's worth a damn, but they charge like it's made of gold. Something like $12 each if I recall correctly.

I use a FRAM filter for my R1 with AMS OIL full synthetic. I used to get the OEM filter and Spectro oil from the dealer but it was more $$$$ and more of a hassle.
