[Dan F4]

I broke my bud's TLR rear seat cowl. He wanted to see what his bike looks like doing a wheelie.

Well I have to say I like it. But my ass slide on the seat and broke the rear hook on the cowl.

Anyways I need one ASAP or he won't let me ride his bike anymore. 1999 TLR 1000 Blue/White..

No, it was a nice 1-2-3 gear wheelie.

I am used to doing this on my bike and I slide my ass back to get it balanced. So it wasn't like I was out of control.

I like the way it looks but let's just say I'm not a fan of the cowl anymore ($208.97 plus tax).

Dan, are you sure that your name is Dan and you don't live in Houston? You see, a guy I know is having to do the same thing for his friend who rides a TLR. Yeah, they traded for a wheelie session, and he broke the other guy's TLR cowl. Probably the only difference is that this is the second time he broke the other guy's cowl.

I'm sure.

Honda in Goleta had a open house(they had reps from Suz and Honda onsite) on Saturday and he talked with the Suz. rep. and I guess this has happened to a lot of people.

I can get a fender for under $100 bucks, but this cowl is just a rip off.

I feel for your buddy, but I won't be doing anymore wheelie's on his bike (with the cowl on). Once was enough for me.
