I was just sitting here messing around with Winamp and generally getting nothing productive accomplished(hey, it's Friday- I can stay up late tonight!) :D wondering what kind of music everyone is into.

Of course, since I brought it up- I'll offer my current Winamp playlist here on my PC for scrutiny... well the bands at least, not necessarily each tune.

Bad Religion
Sloan
Limp Bizkit
Incubus
Stir
Foo Fighters
Kid Rock (hey I dig some ryhmes now and again, allright!?)

In my car-

Bad Religion
Fugazi
Limp Bizkit
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
Rocket from the Crypt
Kid Rock
Mighty Mighty Bosstones

Man- now that I look at it, that's one freaky music collection!

Your turn... ;)

I listen to almost anything except country.

The current collection on my harddrive/playlist has 10+ gigs of everything under the sun on it. I even a couple of select country tunes...

My CD collection is mostly Rock, Rap and classical, but I own a little bit of everything.

GreenNinja-

Oh man- you're right- I forgot NOFX! Haven't listened to it in a while but it's classic punk rock- gotta love it.

I felt the same about Kid Rock and Limp Bizkit a while back- listening to either made me feel dirty- like I needed to go huddle in the corner of my shower and scrub myself down. But for some reason, as immature as both of those albums are- I just got hooked, I guess. My wife freakin' hates it- but for some reason, I seem to have found a place for both. Plus, I'm sure there's nothing funnier than looking over in traffic and seeing my geeky lily white ass grooving out to the bass thumping in my four door. (when it's raining or winter that is) Still, I listen to Bad Religion the most by far. Have you picked up their latest? Excellent of course- although it's no Suffer or Generator.

I just can't understand country music, I despise happy girl music, and any kind of hardcore gangsta rap is just lost on me. I guess I do have kind of wide ranging musical tastes otherwise. And I try not to bag on anyone else's tastes. Except for when I hop in my wife's car- I can't even believe the discs I find in there! I keep telling her they'd make excellent sidestand plates... ;)

I almost forgot some others: Rollins Band, Jawbox, Quicksand, and Soul Coughing.
