Hey all,

I am 21 years old, have my G full for almost 2 years now, and have been driving since i was 16 (5 years). Other than a minor 15 over speeding ticket, i have a clean driving record. I am considering getting my motorcycle license. Now my dad has his M full or M2 i believe (does it matter) he has a 2009 Kymco Xciting Ri 500 Scooter (498.5 cc). Everyone is saying the rate drop is mediocre to dramatic once you are 25, and then again once you are 30. Perhaps at that age i will get myself my own bike, probably standard. I am curious as to what i will be paying a year, for minimum to full insurance. This may be a stupid question which i think i know the answer to, but you can't get insurance for a couple of months right? i mean in Ontario, we ride our bikes from April (if we're lucky) to Mid-October, yet pay full year's worth.

Appreciate the help everyone.
