Light bulbs for topics

I was wondering if anyone else has a problem with the light bulbs on the side of new topics not working. More often than not, I don't get the light bulbs at all. Every once in a while the light bulbs will be there. I would rather look at a yellow bulb than try to look at the date of the last post and the person who posted it.
