I just recieved my Aluminum Oval Leo Vivci slip-on for my F4 today and have just gotten some riding impressions.

This exhaust rocks! :) It has eliminated the infamous flat spot in my F4's powerband at 5,500 RPMs. It pulls past 13,500 RPMs, and it has gained torque below 6,000 RPMs(this may only feel like this because of the eliminated flat spot) It pulls smooth through the entire RPM range. It has a very sweet exhaust note, throaty, but not abnoxiously loud(just right). I have done no jetting and will do it soon. I am at 6,000 ft. here in Colorado Springs and was told to jet 6% leaner. Anyone with more recommendations? I may be purchasing the header and an air filter later, so I will have to rejet again anyways.

My only complaint is that it has a slight exhaust leak where it clamps onto the header, but it goes away after idle. I think this is caused by it being made of stainless steel, thus it expands and contracts as the temperature rises and falls. The fit was really good with tight fittings throughout and the finish is top quality. The welds are honed out so the exhaust is smooth with no welds on the inside. I thought it would have been louder considering it is a straight through race can, but it is very reasonable.

The collector pipe has a bracket with a rubber stopper on it which I was informed by a rep. at Indigo that this is for the centerstand on the European version. At first I thought I got the wrong collector, but I was told it is the right one. This piece is not visible unless you are looking for it.

For the Leo Vinci SBK logo on the side you are supplied with an aluminized sticker and an aluminum plate that comes with rivets and a drill bit. I opted for the sticker because it can be replaced with the metal plate if anything goes wrong.

I would like to purchase a centerstand for my bike if the price is comparible to a swingarm stand. The frame already has mounting points for it, and it would allow me to service the swingarm and linkage, as a swingarm stand wouldn't. Some have said that I will lose ground clearance, ect. but the Europeans don't seem to have a problem with it. Does anyone know a price or where I could get a genuine Honda centerstand for my F4?

I solved the leaking problem with some VTR sealant and repositioning the clamp today. Suposedly all exhausts should be assembled with sealant. Everyting is good now.

My friend just got his Arrow full system today and will be installing it tonight. The construction looks exactly the same as my Leo Vinci. (They are both made in Italy) I'll let you know what it is like in a few days.

Later.

taner, how's the riding in Colorado Springs? I lived there for seven years but unfortunately I moved to Michigan before I was old enough to have a street bike.

RC51racer: The riding here is beautiful, you just have to get out of town to have any fun. I have been riding every Monday and some weekends with some employees from Apex Sports. I got my bike about a month ago and it is my first streetbike. I raced motocross for about 10 years and the last few in the pro class. I got burnt out and decided to change it up a little. I may be racing motocross next season and sell or keep my F4. I hope I can do both if funds allow.

Being my first bike, I got the F4, but in the future I will get an open class bike and I like the RC51. Do you have a RC51? How do you like it?

Also, I was just in Michigan at the start of the summer. We were in Flushing, MI and had to go to Flint for an oil change. We may have been downtown, but we were in ghetto town USA! I was on my way back from Mt. Morris Pennsylvania I better stop rambling.
