Does anyone else utilize the kickstand turn (may not be the proper term) when getting out of tight spaces?
When I say kickstand turn, I mean leaning the bike over with all the weight on the kickstand and turning the bike around 180 degrees while on the kickstand. I do it, but i've afraid it going to buckle one day.

I do every time I take my bike off my porch, and have gotten quite good at it. As for the buckeling look at it this way. That stand is a solid piece of steel, do you know how much pressure it takes to bend steel? I'd guess well over 500 pounds.:2cents:

I have seen it done a few times, and done it once... Just feels too unstable for me. If I dropped it I would be pissed at myself!

I turn my bike around like that in my garage all the time. I do sometimes worry about the kick stand breaking. It would suck if you were out somewhere and it broke like the one in the movie 'Biker Boyz'.
