Hi All-

My bet is that Ferrari will be knocking on his door to offer him an engineering job within thirty days. I've never seen attention-to-detail like that before in my whole life. What an interesting story.

Friend of my father built a scale model of a steam locomotive, this is nothing compared to the car, though, like this chap, all drawen out & no guidance, coal & all with everything that would be used to run it.

Come WWII he was to old to be of any use only later on they hired him back in to the RCAF as he worked on aircraft machine guns to sight & made many improvements which the Govt were going to patiene (sp?) in his name, but he did not give a darn about.

After WWII he was restoring anything that rolled like old steam locomoties, old cars, wagons, tread mills for horses & not us humans & such.

Then the city of Saskatoon Saskatchewan Cdn (his home town) asked him if he could build a Colbot Cancer machine for if they ordered one from the USA they would be waiting 10 yrs, but sold them a small bit of the plan. So along with another hobby friend they looked over this bit of the plan & said YES so they did. Which is pretty good for a 4th grade student.

They also had him teaching in the University of Saskatchewan & put a test before him so he could prove his knowledge & so be looked upon as a proper teaching Professor.

He was a top notch gunsmith, made violins & even made an organ for his daughter that took the wall of their living room what whith all its pipes---yes a true pipe organ & not an electric organ.

I am telling you these hobby people are simply amazing when they get as deep as some do.
