I haven't had to adjust my chain in about a year (@3000 miles). It's not that I don't check it. It simply is not slacking up at all. It's not too tight. I'm so confused. Anyone else experience this?

yes thats normal for a chain to be like that,...but only in Wash.,..see it rains so much here the chain is shrinking about the same amount it is being stretched :p

I would think that if you got initial stretch taken care of and typically ride without much wheelie-poppin'-tire-burnin' action, you could not need much adjusting while chain is in the prime of it's life. I had to adjust mine on new bike last year, but mine has pretty much stayed where it is for several thousand miles (4?k).

Yea Washington! Heading over N. Cascades Hwy on Tuesday for trip to Wenatchee.
