They're calling it a "flat twin" in the article, but "opposed twin" makes more sense to me. Yes John, the front cylinder valve covers are pointing right at the front wheel. I would think keeping both cylinders at a similar temp. would be a challenge.

Didn`t this bike used to be called Voxan?.I could be mistaken but I thought there was a French outfit manufacturing this engine design under the Voxan banner.

im not sure on the voxan front.. i thought the only bike they made was the boxter/boxer or what ever.

they say this engine config lowers the center of gravity, thus improving handling.
i wouldnt mind taking it for a spin.

The styling is similar, but the Voxan is a 72 degree V-twin. The "boxer" name has more to do with the styling than the engine layout.
