in four to eight weeks when my broken thumb heals. So, in Clark time, that's twelve to sixteen weeks.

Short of it...
I'm zippin along, probably too fast (I say 30/5, the officer says excess of 40), blind right turn, pickup pulls out, try to swerve around, he keeps coming...

tagged him in front of ther front wheel. SmallFry (the daughter for those who don't know :) ) comes to rest on the hood of the truck.

She's fine, will have a few sore muscles in the AM.

Didn't really get a good look at the bike berfore they took us to the Hospital, but it doesn't look good for the home team.

The driver looked in the 'blind turn' mirror, didn't see me coming.
All is all not a bad day. Could have been better. But we are both alive and well.

Good to hear you and your girl are OK. Take her out for some ice cream!

Everyone, please, let's be super careful out there, not looking like a good year to be on 2 wheels in da'burgh so far.

Tell me you weren't on 88.

Tell Small Fry I was asking about her AND get her a treat on me. :thumb:

The easiest way to handle this is to get a receipt in triplicate. Have the sales person sign each copy and include colored copies of his/her driver's license attached to each, showing all data as well as daytime phone number. Fax a copy to my office along with a phone number where you can be reached between 7:00AM and 7:10AM on Sunday mornings along with the last four digits of your SS number. That will let my people get in touch with your people to give a mailing address to send your check for Shipping and Handling (does not include shipping and handling) as well as all original copies. Do not bend, fold, spindle, or mutilate. There is a twenty-five dollar charge for all returned checks. Be sure to include a self addressed stamped envelope for return mail. If you want to hear this in Spanish, press #2.

If you'd rather do it the hard way, you could tell me how much next time I see you and I'll give you the money. I'm flexible like that.:)

Really, get her a treat from me, please.

Hope Momma's OK. That had to be scary.:(

Thanks everyone. We'll take her out this afteroon for sure. Now we are all settled down and all.

Not on 88 :) Less than a minute from home actually. Most accidents are close to home and all.

Not sure if it has really settled in w/ ma yet. She's pretty calm about right now.

It's not very easy to shake it off with the wrong hand :crying:

So glad to hear that you are well. I'll send Teabagger your way to help you taunt bike salespeople. He's good at that. Take care .

She says she'll ride with me again. We'll see. But don't let our mishap stop you from riding with the kids.

Took delivery of a beat up (even more now) F4i. Doesn't look so bad right now, but it's dark out. Dripping coolant from somewhere. I'll take better pics in the AM and post if anyone is interested.

Glad to hear that you are both OK. And now for the thankyou God. I am sure that was quite a scare for both of you.

Next time I take my kids out they are wearing full leathers, boots and a helmet.

Now hopefully you have learnt your lesson with those terrorist ninja bikes.

Knowing the way that you ride I think a Moto Guzzi is the way to go.

or a zx-10 your choice. :D
