Try 2-up on a GSXR1000. It is great!
Awesome picture! There aint nothing better then having your girl enjoy a ride on a bike. Especially on a tour. I unfortunately am not blessed with that girl. Even though our first date was on my bike. She is good for only a night out hitting the cafe's.

I guess that is better then nothing.

Hi Miguel,
All those lovely roads are now covered under a minimum of 5 feet of snow. Ski season is upon us :)

The snow is so thick above 7,500' that the DOT simply closes the road for the winter. Hwy 4 will likely reopen in mid-May.

Hope to see you next year up here. Be sure to give me a heads up when you set your travel dates.

Happy Holidays,

Kev

You got it...! I will keep you advised when I decide to make it up there again. It is only rain here in the Bay Area. Definitely not enough to stop me from riding or commuting. Otherwise, for the hills I will stick to the 4x4 Pathfinder.

Ciao!

Great photo, Miguel!

Looks like you were near Chinatown, except for the trash on the ground, however it looks like you were getting some pretty violent winds (overturned trash cans). I have always been amazed at how clean Chinatown is, surrounded by the general filth in the city. I simply love the aromas (incense from the Buddist Temple) food shops and pharmacies in C-Town.

BTW: Storm #3 is hammering us right now. 395 is closed for white-out and winds...65mph +

Driving the F-350 today :)

Something has gone freakishly awry with the weather gods. It is mid-60s here again, when it should be mid 30s. Not that I am complaining of course, but it looks like I'm going to have to fly the friendly skies to get some skiing in.

Good eyes... As a matter of fact it was extreemly windy that day. If you look at it closer you will see that the awnings are also blowing around. The waves at the beach were close to 40ft tall. It was a brutal day but when on a bike... its all good.

Ciao!
