I could probably get a couple of different options.
My wife worked for Minyard Food Stores as a manager but just left. But she could still hook you up there.
Or, She just went to work for a brand new Super Target (that hasn't opened yet) as a manager and might be able to hook you up there.
She's asleep now so I could find out tomorrow and get back to you.
Tell me a few things about yourself and I could check on pay scale also ie: age, experience.
Also, it's no problem at all, but if you move here we must ride!
oh yeah and about riding.. a sure thing.. i had my plastics repainted last week but the moron didnt give me my blinkers back so i am waiting for those. are there very many good riding spots in the Dallas area?

Glad to see your keeping in good spirits. I think McDonalds is always looking for people. J/K, ever think about the military? your still young. I only wish ther was some type of oraganization out there that donated to bike rideres in trouble, cause I'd be the first to call them so I can get my bike running. I guess that statment stems from not making enough money and hearing your thread to support my habit.

OK, I went and woke her up (she likes it when I do that) and she informs me that they are building grocery/retail stores out here as fast as they can and you would not have any problem findng a job whatsoever..
The pay scale for your experience would probably be around $10 starting.
Also, she said that because you do have some exp. you could be a little more firm in your pay request and maybe swing a little more than that.
But there is definitly not a shortage of jobs in this area. So packs your bags and join us in Hell!
As far as the roads go. I have only been here for about a year and a half so I haven't found all the good roads yet but from what I here.. there out there.
Dave... thanks for the info.. i have my brother who lives in Dallas workin on a few things for me but i am also going to check out what you said.. im hoping to be there in a week or 2 at the most lol

I have 8 years Produce Dept. exp., can I get a job down there?
Hell, that ain't much less than I make now with 4 yrs. college and 2 years professional exp.
Sorry for venting......
j/k- good luck with your move and new job- hope it works out for you.

Not to get off topic, but what exactly have you heard? Just wondering...

I wouldn't be so paranoid if you all weren't out to get me.
if you know anything about computers or want to learn about them, there is a place called stream intl. they are in carrolton.(suburb) they will train you on anything, hardware, software, networking, isp's, ect. they will even teach you the mcse for free. the starting pay is kinda low for the industry($10.58). i have been working there for about 7 months now. i take hardware calls for dell. but 3 of my friends have started there and stayed for about 6-10 months. they then got higher paying jobs($15-20an hour) doing the same thing. if you can stare at a computer screen for 8 hours(i surf the net) and talk on the phone you might dig it. godd luck.
Scotty, I can't believe you asked that question. You know the ones Cabin Boy.
G'Blake,
You have bagged groceries so you would be perfect for the Radioactive Waste cleanup here in East Tenn. You can live within a 30 minute ride from Deal's Gap(318 curves in 11 miles) and make about $12-$16 per hour starting pay and be in the low $20s in 5 years. Oh BTW, you will have to pass a couple of written exams and a physical exam. Don't worry, I know the guy who wrote the exam... it was me.

G'Blake,
Don't be misled by John's facade. What he's really saying is that you can work for him 'personally.' The only requirement is that you can fit into his French maid outfit. I'm sure he will teach you all the neccessary 'skills!'
Rc.. are you serious.. lol.. nothing against it or anything but Radioactive waste cleanup just doesnt sound like it is very safe and logical.. but hey thats just me lol.. and about the stuff i dont like about the military.. my opinion is that unless i am getting paid over 50k a year no one will sit there and yell and scream and b.s like that at me. and i dont think i am physicaly able to do all the running and crap you have to do there.. i have very bad knees lol.. and im only 20 i cant wait till i about 50
