Hi there, I don't want to seem juvenile, but my buddy was doing wheelie today at at stupid 240 km on the highway, and when I asked him how to do them, he simply said slip the cltuch.

What the heck or how the heck do you "slip the clutch?"

Thanks for helping.

This probably belongs in the Stunting forums, for future reference. And using some kind of search will easily answer your question. Google is you friend. Also, you can use SBW's Search, under the Stunting forum. I found this post which matches your question.

BTW, I personally don't condone stunting on public roads at any speed :2cents:

Just a thought: If you don't know how to pull a wheelie while going that fast, perhaps you shouldn't be doing it. Especially on public roads. Seeing as how you are in Canada, are the roads in good enough condition yet to really ride? I don't keep up with your weather, but it's something to think about. Salt and other crap on the road could make trying this a really bad experience. I'd think you would want absolutely optimum conditions to try it (read: track). Just my opinion. Good luck.

Oh, I definately don't try it....that was my very stupid buddy that did it. I have told him about the crappy roads, and what that speed does to skin, but he does it anyway. Not my problem.

If I did it, I would be going 40 - 50 mph MAX !!!

That's the right answer. Take your time to learn because you're only given one body in this lifetime: treat it well.

I've been passed by bikes flying by me on one wheel while I'm going 80mph+ on highways (I'm in a car)...it's awesome. Having said that, it's only awesome because I'm not the one that will get their body crushed if something screws up and the cars behind them are unable to stop in time. :thumb:
