You'll be fine on a 600. I'm 5'7" on a good day, and I have a '00 F4. If I'm wearing my running shoes, I'm on my toes/balls of my feet. Moving the bike around isn't a problem at all.
You could actually fit on just about any bike out there. I've been on ZX9, Busa, GSXR 750, and I've got the same reach on them than I do on my F4. Actually, I think the Busa may be a bit lower.

I'm 28, and a guy, I only pay 70 a month for full coverage on my 99 ZX-6R.. I dont think thats bad at all... call around, I go through The Hartford... and I love the ZX-6R, you will too!

I would go for a Suzuki Katana 600 ? There should be a big diff in insurance between this and the Ninja! (A katana is a sport bike with all the plastics if you didn't know). How about an Suzuki SV650? Nice bike! A Suzuki GS500?? sporty and easy to flick around! But if you consider this bike Look at The Kawasaki EX500 (Ninja500R) It is better than the GS500, because It is watercooled, A little quicker, I like the looks better
Where Do you live in Ontario ? If you are close we can hook up for a ride.

Well, it's completely cool welcome to the board Kelly, we need more female canyon carvers in this world (in Texas specifically ) Looks like our only one left Houston to the land on the maple leaf too (no Pete didn't move to Canada).
What are you looking for in a bike that you don't get from the SV650? Strictly for insurance purposes the Yamaha R6 is very cheap and the Suzuki Katana which was mentioned.

Bwahahaha! I'm 32, a guy, and I pay about $20/month on my VTR. Was killing time recently shopping ins. on riderpoint.com and the highest quote I could generate was like $360/yr. for a 'Busa or ZX12! Sadly, I can't afford to buy a damn bike right now.
