Hello all,

I have been a rider for a few years ( about 4) and I know a little about modifying bikes, but now I have a triumph and it seems like manufacters hardly have any after market parts for this bike. Now, if I had another Jap bike I would have aftermarket parts falling out of my ears. Anyway, here's the question:

Does anyone know what aftermartket performance parts are available to make more ponies on the 2004 Daytona 955i?

So far I know there are a handful of slip-ons. I believe there is a power commander but not for this exact year. I have seen a K&N air filter. What about a full exhaust, headers, chain and sprockets kits etc, etc.

COULD ANYONE PLEASE HELP?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!!

IMHO, most bikes that are not all that common (like yours) they look best just clean as hell with very few mods. Just clean it up with basic mods like an undertail, flushmounts, slip-on and other such basic mods.

The only times people need to do a lot of mods, ie rims, rearsets, polished frames, custom paint jobs and other such mods that are not done by the common man is if they have the same bike as everyone else at the local hangout. Its only when you have the same gixxer1k as everyone else that you have to invest thousands of dollars to make it different.

Just keep your bike simple and clean and it will get plenty of looks cause its different and people haven't seen 6 of them today.

That makes sense

I like what you said about keeping it simple, that makes good sense but on the other part I'm going to England and Triumph's are as common as gixxers over here. But Thanks

If your going to England than I'm sure you'll find plenty of parts for you bike over there. Definately more than you find here in the states. You'll actually probably find a lot of parts right in the local dealer instead of having to search the online stores like you gotta do here.

I also have a 2004 Daytona 955i. I too have been looking into some upgrades. I have installed the K&N air filter. I have also installed the full slider kit from Skyking and the high-mount carbon fibre exhaust from Triumph. What I really want to do is re-gear the bike. Supposedly Renthal makes front and rear sprockets for the 04 Daytona, but the only website I can find them on is a UK website and they don't ship to the US.

Vortex Racing claims to have sprockets and a 520 conversion kit for the 04 daytona, but as I found out the hard way, it only fits the double-sided swingarm models, not the single-side swingarm.

I have a lead on a company called Sprocket Specialists that supposedly will custom make sprockets for any bike. Thats what I'm looking into now.

Actually, VortexRacing said that they would make me one, if I sent them the existing sprocket and carrier. I just don't want to be without the bike for that long right now. Maybe over the winter.

Here are some websites that carry Triumph accessories;

www.onetail.com
www.skykingproducts.com
www.teamtriumph.com
www.whaccessories.com
