You might look at Bridestone BT-014 though if you are not going to be pressing the bike hard then Bridestone BT-020 with the latter being used on many Yamaha FZ6 bikes from the factory.

The BT-020 will be a bit less in cost compared to the BT-014 or BT-012. I use the 014 on the rear & 012 on the front of my sportbikes. Being Yamaha YZF600r, Honda 929 & 954.

Check out avon t45/t46. They are a sport touring tire, and I can get about 8k out of the rear on a liter bike. traction is good enough to last you for a while

I have a 97 F3 and I run Bridgestone 020s. They've never slipped on me, and I barely have 1/8" chicken strips on the rear tire. I know people who drag knees on the street using them. A pair cost me $194.
