haha just kidding... but i do have a similar question...

im taking all the necessary steps as a noob should do to get into riding. problem is i bought my bike (used 2005 honda rebel 250cc AWESOME DEAL ON IT!) before i took the MSF class (coming up 3 weeks). Now its just sitting there in my garage and boy i tell ya... its almost like having Heidi Klum lying on your bed and all you can do is just sit there and stare at her (actually, i wouldnt mind that all)

im so tempted to take her for a spin but i dont know how to operate it.... is there a website that explains to a total noob like me how to ride? I've drive manual so the clutch part wont be a problem...

i have a feeling im gonna be flamed for this *flame suit on*

I can't resist. Not knowing what to do with a Honda Rebal is a hell of a different problem then not knowing how to ride Heidi Klum.

First thing I would do is to read the owner's manual. Yeah, it's pretty basic but it has the essential how and what of your particular bike. Read the MSF information and DMV booklets for law guidance and riding tips. Find an empty parking lot and get a feel for the bike in as SAFE of a manner as possible. If you have the maturity to want to learn properly and won't go off on the road without a M/C endorsement, then I don't see a problem with trying the bike out.

But most importantly, get good riding gear. That includes at a minimum a helmet, gloves, jacket, boots, and pants. Make sure they are designed for riding, not the club. Be safe and good luck.
