I'm completely, totally happy with the F4 for now. Ask me again in a couple years. ;)

Except that it keeps trying to get me in trouble by going to darn fast!

i love my bike, but a lot of times i wish i bought the speed triple or a 748. the gsxr just makes me ride fast. i feel like chili even when i wanna go slow.

the 748 would've been fun, but i don't think i'd beat on it as much (since i'm not a wealthy guy).

the triple i think would've been the all-in-one perfect street bike.

I love my VFR. It has been reliaable, comfortable and fast enough for me. I have added a corbin seat, Lockheart bra, soft luggage (travel only) and D207F/D205R tires. I will soon need to replace it and don't know what to get. The sort list includes: CBR929, VFR800, CBR1100XX, ZX-9R, Sprint ST955, and RC51.

My 95 ZX6 has every possible suspension tweak, (seriously) but it's still not quite dialed in...it really tends to "turn-in" too easy in corners, which is good in some ways, but makes for quite a busy ride and is bad in alot of ways.

On the whole i love my bike but i have been thinking of the 2000 6R or the next 7R (if it ever is produced)

When I'm riding my bike I love it. When I'm fixing it, waiting on parts, or just thinking about it I hate it and would sell my soul for a good old F2/F3. But It's a bike and I'm too broke to buy a new one. Anything on 2 wheels is just fine with me.

Rock on
Ride on

I love my F4. Perfect power, perfect size. As long as the bike stays reliable I'll keep it.

I am beginning to really like my VTR. I'm anxious to install an aftermkt exhaust system, and I wish there was a cost-effective way to increase its fuel range, but overall, I'm pretty content. There's a gaping hole in my heart, though, where that 929 used to be.

GreenNinja, have you had any nibbles on your bike? I'm not into the chrome/polishing stuff, but I have to say that your bike is one helluva looker.

Thanks Pete!
It was on eBay and went up to $4850.00 Didnt meet my reserve of $5600.00 (and i didnt expect it too) so i am keeping it.

Dont think for a second its "all show and no go" ... I get TOO MUCH flack from people who think this.

In the 2 months the plastics were away, i made almost every suspension upgrade (front and rear) short of a pair or OHLINS race forks. The power is respectable, but it is no R6 thats for sure.

Bottom line, i like the bike, its a performer AND a looker, and if people think my bike is all show, they usually are pretty surprised at its "go".

But still, id rather have a 2000 6R or a next-gen 7R

Yes, I am real HAPPY with my R1. I have had a dozen Bikes and this is my favorite. It handles so well, it makes me feel like I am a way better Rider than I probably am. It's quick, light and so far very dependable. I don't know of any other I Bike I would rather have, unless of course I could afford an R7 and the required Race Season to buy it.

That's exactly the way I feel Fizzman! My bike is a temperamental POS! I long for a bike that doesn't have to be "tweaked" every time I thrash it. And let's not talk about desmodromic valves...Aaahhhhh!!! It's definitely a love/hate relationship. :) :(

Love my RC except the seat(which I fixed) and the grips(also fixed). I just purchased a Moriwaki high mount exhaust for it. There are only 300 of these in the world so I feel that its even more rare now. Perfect blend of Japanese engineered sportbike and V-twin power.

I've driven many bikes and I am still totally in love with my CBR... I like it for the paint scheme, the fact that I don't have to do any major engine mods to spank any four wheeled vehicles on the road, I like it for the handling and stability, and I like it for its decent mid range power and aceleration... I am just now starting to really get comfortable with my bike and I know what it will do when I lay on it going into and outta a turn... It's not going to get away from me like an R6 or get skiddish in a bummpy turn...

Still though... I hate how my bike is now considered "old" because everyone has 99-00 fuel injected machines that claim 120 horse at the crank... I hate how my bike is 100 pounds heavier than any brand new 600 and has way less horse power, I hate the mirrors on it and I can't stand the fact that I have no storage space what so ever and I need a 12 mm wrench to get my seat off....

It's all minor... When I graduate in 2 years this will become my weekend club racing toy and I shall walk into my nearest dealer and have a talk with a saleperson... Wonder what I will walk out with then....

An Aprila perhaps..

Kirsty...

I love the RC-51... havent' done a thing to it. May put new exhaust and PCII chip next spring. I have been very pleased with it. :)

I would like to have an NSR500 V-twin, RSV Mille, Bimota YB11, or a Bimota SB8R to keep the RC company.

I love my bike! Some other bikes would be nice but I will stay with this one for another 2 years or so and get my $s worth out of it then move on. Maybe a Goldwing would be cool :D

My bike doesn't do anything great - but it also does nothing bad. :)
